Replying to the Toast of his health, Dr Blair gave an interesting account of the early days of the Club.
After the toast of "The Memory of Burns" had been proposed by Mr Comrie, Mr Mitchell sang "Nae Bard ava'", written for Dalry Burns Anniversary 1829 by Mr James Stirrat, Post-Master in Dalry.
The Evening was spent in Recitation and Song and after a most interesting meeting, the customary Toasts of "Chairman" and "Croupier" brought the proceedings to a close.
